Always call the Pompiers/Fire Brigade first – they will put you through to the relevant service depending on the urgency and the problem.

6. General Advice
For guidance on driving directions - Via Michelin and Multimap are very good.
Weather for three days in advance for Le Deshayes can be found at Meteo France and a five day forecast on the BBC weather service (only Granville, Cherbourg or Caen).
Traffic problems on French roads are covered on the Autoroutes and the Bison Fute websites. If you struggle with french, use the Google translation service - it's not perfect, but it will help!!
