Set in the heart of the delightful Manche Department in Normandy, an area of working farms, small-holdings and orchards, the first thing that will strike you is the sense of peace and tranquillity – most people are amazed at hearing the songs of the varied bird life, ranging from the numerous sparrows in the garden to the majestic buzzards soaring way overhead.

Walking or cycling is a delight on roads that have few vehicles and where drivers show respect to those enjoying the countryside. Wonderful vistas open up across the rolling countryside, with meandering streams and rivers, an abundance of hedgerows and a range of farm animals to intrigue our younger visitors.
