A wonderful holiday awaits you at this charming 300 year old former farm dwelling that has been recently renovated to a very high standard.

The Gite (French for holiday cottage) retains its original stone and render exterior, whilst the interior has been totally rebuilt to provide luxurious accommodation with all the mod cons.

The front garden boasts a superb timber and slate gazebo that is ideal for al-fresco dining or just lounging out of the heat of the mid-day sun.

Set in the heart of the delightful Manche Department in Normandy, an area of working farms, small-holdings and orchards, the first thing that will strike you is the sense of peace and tranquillity – most people are amazed at hearing the songs of the varied bird life, ranging from the numerous sparrows in the garden to the majestic buzzards soaring way overhead.

In fact, wild life in all its forms is part of the attraction: the wonderful displays of wild flowers on the verges in spring, seeing red squirrels or deer in the woodlands nearby and hearing the salamanders calling in the evenings.

Walking or cycling is a delight on roads that have few vehicles. Wonderful vistas open up across the rolling countryside, with meandering streams and rivers, an abundance of hedgerows and a range of farm animals to intrigue our younger visitors.
