Granville is a working fishing port and includes a ferry link to the Channel Islands . The old narrow winding streets with a variety of shops and cafes are a delight and the restaurants overlooking the harbour offer great locations for lunch, especially for fish lovers. Follow this with a walk up to the ramparts and admire the wonderful views across the town and beyond.

A particular attraction is the childhood home of Christian Dior. The museum and remarkable cliff garden are well worth a visit.
